Bahujan Samaj Party president Mayawati had the most pleasant surprise in store for her when her party workers from Karnataka garlanded her with a special garland believed to be made of currency notes worth Rs. 5 crore.
In fact, none noticed the Rs. 1000 rupees currency notes with which the huge garland was created until these became visible in some shots by some local photographers. "We notices the notes when we zoomed in for our shots", said the photographer, covering the event.
Earlier, while Mayawati was being garlanded, mediapersons could see from a distance that it was not a run-of-the mill garland, beholders initially thought the garland was made of exotic flowers. However, the mystery was unraveled when TV channels covering the event beamed pictures of the garland.
Those present on the dais, however feigned ignorance about the unique garland in which some 50,000 currency notes of 1000 rupee denomination were believed to have been used.
The garland was specially crafted and brought by Mayawati's party functionaries all the way from Bengaluru for Monday's mega rally organized by her to mark the ruling party's silver jubilee celebrations which coincided with the 76th birth anniversary of party founder and her political mentor, Kanshi Ram.
If now law is there, Let's make it which will restrict all leaders from misusing money.
Also i am more interested to know what are her govt's achievements????

Rather concentrating on people's welfare, this lady his mis-using the "Tax Money" paid by the General Public. It's pain 2 understand, why she's wasting the entire money of the people.
The Supreme Court gives only the warnong 2 her & condemning her activities, which cannot B tolerable at any given point of time.
Why not the Supreme Court & Present govt. at the Centre should not dismiss her for her legtharic administration?
Since, Mayawathi has wasted lot of public money till date like erecting 2 much memorials, instead of caring the "below Poverty People & accidental victims".
One of the worst lady leader in the present political scenario, which Indian country has ever seen like this.

very true!it is we the so called educated citizens who either don't vote or vote on the basis of caste, creed, religion etc to empower such incompetent person to such important posts. there is no scarcity of funds for development works but it scarcity of serving attitude to make it happen and instead fulfilling own personal ambitions.So, before people of India "Jaago uttar Pradesh Walo" and do what the great citizens of Bihar did to get out of dark ages of lalu's 15yrs of rule. Go and vote for change and vote to competent persons with good educational, professional and social background with clean image no matter which party they belong to, perhaps this will force the parties to think twice before giving tickets to any illiterate and incompetent person or anyone with criminal background. Also media should stand-up instead of becoming source of advertisements to all these political parties,it should have courage enough to codemn them all and expose them instead of hiding truth from people and serving political interests of few parties. Hats off to all of you for raising your loud voices...........

I am surprised by ur comment & statement made on Mayawathi (sorry Peiyawathi i.e, a witch) that she will use the amoount for surpressed class.
Do not get carried way by political leaders statements. Do not spoil ur future also by supporting these kinds of crankies.
What a selfish women, instead of giving compensation 2 the stampade victims, this lady is using all the money for her personal purpose.
UP peope should throw her away in the next election.
